Tamar Prager

Founder, Owner, and Decluttering Expert at Tamar Prager

Tamar Prager is a mother, wife, percussionist, and outdoor enthusiast living in Westchester, New York. With a background in health care she is using her empathic, grounded approach to teach you how to let go.

Tamar has a magical way of teaching others how to create a healthy relationship to their possessions. In her early 20’s she worked for an organizing company that served individuals in their homes, guiding them through the process of organizing and decluttering spaces. She then created her own company and served people looking to learn how to let go of decades’ worth of collected items.

During her years in healthcare, Tamar learned the need for empathy and the importance of listening closely to her patients in order to be an effective clinician. Today, she infuses her work with these values. She understands that people’s possessions not only hold sentimental value but are of a highly personal nature and therefore can be very difficult to manage. She brings a professional and respectful demeanor to her clients’ spaces and understands that it can be an emotionally charged terrain.

Ultimately, Tamar teaches people a radically different and liberating way to view the hundreds of items that come into their lives. Her method allows clients to let go of what no longer serves them while revealing the power they hold in deciding what stays in the sacred space they call home.
